Glass Pen B1

Glass Pen F3 / Fine tip with reservoir

Designed for precision drawing, illustration, fine writing and detail work, the F3 is a glass pen with an integrated reservoir featuring a fine tip made entirely by hand.

Since each tip is handcrafted, the line width may vary slightly from one pen to another. Under proper conditions of use, the line width generally falls between 0.25 and 0.35 mm.

Each pen is individually tested before shipment. The result is a fine, precise and controlled stroke, better suited for detailed work than our B1 model with its beveled tip.

Long-lasting ink

Up to 50 meters of continuous stroke

Fine line

Approximately 0.25 to 0.35 mm depending on the pen, ink and paper

Tuned tip

Each tip is individually tested and adjusted

Refillable

An integrated reservoir to reduce frequent refilling

The F3 is a handcrafted fine-tip glass pen. Each piece is unique: slight variations in line width may occur depending on the pen, the ink used, the paper and the speed of the stroke.

A pen crafted for precision.

Each glass pen is born in our workshop in Marseille. The glass is heated, blown and shaped entirely by hand, then worked to achieve a fine tip designed for detailed strokes.

The integrated ball reservoir is at the heart of the system developed by Requin Renard to improve ink autonomy and flow consistency. It allows you to draw or write for longer without constantly needing to refill the pen.

Unlike the B1, designed for a wider line variation thanks to its beveled tip, the F3 prioritizes a finer, more stable and more precise stroke.

Fill the back with water-based ink up to the fifth bead. The ink then flows down gradually by gravity.

You can write or draw continuously, without refilling after every stroke. The flow depends on the angle and gesture.

Fluid India ink, watercolour inks or water-based calligraphy inks. Avoid acrylic, metallic or thick inks.

Fill with water, turn the nib upward and shake to extract the ink. Repeat until the water runs clear.

Borosilicate glass withstands normal use. Avoid violent impacts and store in the provided case. In case of breakage, our repair service can help.

Your pen rest

Selectable at checkout via "Pen + rest"

Anti-drying

A small amount of water keeps the nib moist and prevents ink from drying during short breaks.

Controlled restart

A few strokes on a test sheet are enough to restore normal flow after a break.

Protection

Stable position, no risk of staining, rolling or damaging the nib.

The rest is designed for short breaks. During longer pauses (20 to 30 minutes), ink may fully flow into the rest. Cleaning or refilling is then recommended.

The rest greatly reduces unnecessary interruptions and secures your gesture, without replacing good maintenance practices.

How to use
